Born in 2002, Sharmadal died in 2020 aged 18. Among his 161 stakes winners are multiple Gr1 winners and champions, such as Horse of the Year in Hong Kong Able Friend, Champion Sprinter in Europe Blue Point, Champion 2YO Colt in Europe Pinatubo, Champion 2YO Colt in France Earthlight, Champion 2YO Filly in Great Britain Lumiere, Champion 3YO Filly in Australia Faint Perfume, Champion 3YO in France Lope De Vega, Champion 3YO Miler in Italy Amaron, Champion 3YO in Germany Zazou, Champion 3YO Stayer in France Doha Dream, Joint Champion 3YO Sprinter in Ireland Toscanini, Champion Stayer in Hong Kong Pakistan Star, and Horse of the Year in Czech Republic Subway Dancer. Throw in nine others who were given Champion Older Horse or Mare titles, and his record is impressive indeed.
